My first trip to Council Grove

Or "in town" as the humans refer to it.

A lot of firsts today. First time out in public, first time with my cape and leader on, first time walking in town, first time walking by a river, first time walking across a bridge...I tell ya, I'm bushed!

We walked up main street and came across this huge wheel and sign (in front of the Hays House).


Then I had to stop and check out the "porta potty". TBG said I was NOT to use it that way!


We went for a walk down by the river. The trees were beautiful.



We stopped on the bridge. It was pretty scary at first, but TBG told me it was OK and nothing to be afraid of. He was right!


We stopped by a big statue on the way back. I thought it was neat, so I jumped up there and checked it out.


Here, Deb and I are walking back to the car.


I wanted my picture by the wagon, but since I'm so small, I needed to be lifted up to get in the picture.




What a fun afternoon, but I think I hear those stairs a call'n!
